Rock Out This Autumn! In the Studio or Online or Outdoors. Guitar Singing Bass Songwriting Lessons in Teddington and Online.
Hello friends, Autumn has begun here at our local Bushey Park. We are unashamedly keeping the summer’s spirit alive by Rocking Out! Autumn is the season to pick up where you left off, track progress and complete musical goals for the year.
Deer are urgently racing against time, so why not take a leaf out of their book? Weekend lessons are held outdoors. The crisp October air inspires us to write new melodies during my guitar and songwriting lessons. All this while baby deer looked on motionless agog from the sounds and the micro-amp chiming.
Songwriting and Music Making
As the leaves turn vibrant shades and the warm autumn air fills our lungs, there’s no better time to dive into taking singing or songwriting lessons or make music on guitar, bass or ukulele. Why not start a new instrument or sing in many environments including the studio, at home online or in the beauty of Bushey Park a stunning outdoor classroom?
Join me for a musical journey filled with creativity, inspiration, and enjoyable future performances. Amidst Autumn in Bushey Park, graceful deer dart through the trees, charming hedgehogs emerge and the shimmering lakes teem with fish. Herons, swans, and coots glide across the surface, providing a backdrop for our musical adventures.
It is a privilege to work with those who have embarked on their journey.
Steve, my dedicated guitar student, has strummed his way through the seasons. His lessons held at the studio and on occasion held in the park, have been a journey of self-discovery. He likes to rock out beneath the canopy serenading the park’s residents, and passers by.
Mandy, a gifted songwriter, finds inspiration in the leaves and the soothing sounds of the parkland. Melodies and lyrics flow with ease while outdoors. Her freedom to express original tunes grows under the blue sky.
Amelia: The Ukulele Maestro
Amelia’s ukulele songs are a delight. Her lessons began online, then in person, the combination of lessons and workshops has helped her improve her ukulele skills.
Emma and Lara: The Dynamic Duo
This sister duo, Emma and Lara, have joined me for group lessons. The park’s vibrant ecosystem has provided a rich backdrop for their musical journey. Their harmonious tunes are often accompanied by the Autumn calls of stags in the distance.
The Power of Music
Reflecting on the summer, I see how students have benefited from the combination of class settings.
Nature and walking through Bushey help channel and get it onto the page while connecting with the world around.
We practice effectively when overheard by the keen ears of animals.
The Evolution of Teaching
Technology has of course found a place in our lessons. I’ve seamlessly integrated new technologies and platforms that make studying instruments far more effective. The results have been astounding, with my grade students making remarkable progress towards their exams. AI provides us with a template and springboard for creative thinking.
Rocking Out Without Inhibitions
But here’s the fun part—rocking out without any inhibitions. In the studio, it is important to focus on detail, playing for others at open mics or outdoors, I encourage students to let loose and play undeterred, even when passers-by stop to listen. It’s all about embracing the moment, boosting confidence, and enjoying making music.
